The Feminine holds the mystery and key of all creation known. The Sacred Feminine is simply that core of our being which calls for revisiting and recognizing again. This is not only a key to life and birth, this is also that “mystical” place inside of you where all transformation starts, and life is all about continual transformation, cherishing and caring for, providing for first our own souls (love to oneself), and caring for other human being around us. The Sacred Feminine is about love, caring, cherishing, creating and recreating – it’s about celebrating life.
Simply think of care, closeness, feelings, joy, happiness, mystical spiritual knowledge, deep wisdom inside of us, holy unification of a man and woman, LOVE – the Sacred Feminine touches upon and is involved in all of this. Without it, nothing of these could be possible.
It is worth remembering that feminine qualities belong to both men and women, and they draw us into the depths within us, into the mysteries of the soul, into the wisest part of our souls.
Without the Feminine nothing can exist, nothing can be born, renewed, recreated. Without it, neither woman's or man's soul can be purified or redemted. The Sacred Feminine has always been within us and around us, though unfortunately suppressed, banished and forgotten. The task for both women and men is to literally resurrect it.
Trying to define the role of the Sacred Feminine, the following can be said:
It means recognizing the feminine alongside the masculine as the oneness cannot be achieved otherwise, and through oneness all creation. It means recognizing the interconnection between all things created.
The Sacred Feminine is about valuing a woman as a whole, recognizing all her qualities and sides as a human being: body, mind and spirit,i.e valuing females equally with males.
Feminine corresponds to our planet Earth, as this is the ground which holds our bodies, and needing our care and respect as it cannot provide us survival if treated otherwise. The Big Sacred Mother, Mother Earth is our nurisher, her body is our home. That’s why it is important to protect the resources, such as water, food, air, which were unselfishly provided to us from greed, self-interest, exploitation and domination.
In the spiritual sense, it means valuing the feminine as an equally fundamental dynamic of the creative life force and the Divine, along with the masculine. It is simply explained through yin and yang duality. One cannot exist without the other and that is the case with each and every duality.
The Sacred Feminine means honoring Goddess, i.e. the Feminine face of God, as well as female deities and archetypes of the Goddess throughout history and cultures.
From the psychological point of view, it means integrating and recognizing the feminine qualities as important interior qualities of balance within each individual, male and female.
In daily life it means showing care and respect to each other, recognizing differences, embracing them and living with them. It means not being judgmental, but trying to find understanding and compassion.
It means being connected with one’s own inner being, the creative flow, mind, heart, soul, i.e. one’s own spirituality, intuition, wisdom, sensuality and sexuality.
C A T E G O R I E S:
“The day she realised, it was not about the world but was all about her, she grew the wings. The day she understood she was not answerable to any of them who always blamed and pointed her, she had the fire blazing in her eyes. She raised and soared towards the sky. The whole world looked at her in awe and wished if only they could be her. She was not confined to be on the ground anymore. She had the wings of fire and she left a trail everywhere she went, for other to follow.”
