We’ve all heard about different diets and losing weight in sleep: for example - with special foods to the dream weight.
This “sleep” diet, however, works a little bit differently.
A new dangerous diet trend has been spread on many blogs, and especially in US. Namely, sleeping and therefore no longer eating. If necessary, also with sleeping pills or other sedatives.
The principle is very simple: you sleep, you cannot eat. The problem is that no one is really tired for that long. Therefore, it must be helped artificially - as mentioned above, even with sleeping pills. It has nothing to do with the successful "slim in sleep" diet.
The sleep diet should not be confused with the "lean-in-sleep" principle.
In fact, healthy sleep helps the body lose weight. Dr. Detlef Pape has developed the slim-in-sleep diet which has to do with proper nutrition and a proper night's sleep.
"Humans have developed a chronological metabolic rhythm adapted to the day-night shift, meaning that energy is absorbed during the day, and especially carbohydrates are processed into the muscles and brain.
If the demand is exceeded, carbohydrates and fat migrate into the fat deposits. Therefore, the meals must be adapted to the rising and falling insulin levels: carbohydrates in the morning, mixed foods at noon and egg whites in the evening. Always with 5 hours distance. That's how fat loss happens at night. "
As for the "sleep diet", which has nothing to do with healthy nutrition and healthy sleep, but is aided by sleeping pills, there is only one advice – do not ever try it!
